A little bit about me

I’m sort of a Jill of all trades, which keeps things interesting. I’ve worked in media for more than a decade as a writer, editor, photographer, and recipe developer. I’ve written recipes for corporate clients, restaurants, magazines, food councils, and food companies. Whether you need a snappy newsletter, tantalizing food photos, enticing recipes, or the whole package — I’m your gal.

What I’ve done

Outside of media, I’ve written recipes for Barteca, a restaurant group with two restaurant concepts: Bartaco and Barcelona Wine Bar. I have twice had the honor of cooking at the James Beard House with Barcelona Wine Bar chefs. I also helped with cooking demonstrations at the De Gustibus Cooking School and several charity events, including the Chefs’ Tribute to Citymeals on Wheels.

Before that, I was the Recipe Editor at Thrillist, where I developed recipes for their fried food-obsessed audience. This fat-laden expertise landed me on Buzzfeed discussing my recipe for Tater Tot Waffle Grilled Cheese, and “The Chew” featured my Doritos-crusted onion rings. My recipes and photographs have also appeared in Food & Wine, Fine Cooking, The Kitchn, Daily Burn, EatingWell, and MyRecipes, among others.

Where I’ve studied

I have a master’s degree in journalism from City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism. My bachelor’s degree in anthropology is from Metropolitan State University of Denver.

I’m always looking for my next great adventure, so hit me up!
